SPECIAL NOTE
As new variants continue their spread in our area and across the world, we continue to be cautious and show love and concern for the most vulnerable among us. Here are a couple tips to protect your health and the health of your neighbor:
- Full vaccination includes getting your booster. If you need help with getting your booster, please contact Rev. Tracy and she will be glad to help.
- Wear your mask when you are in public, including while attending our services in-person.
- Practice social distancing.
- Take advantage of curbside pickup and delivery options for your shopping and dining.
- If you are feeling sick, have a temperature or cough, please stay home and take care of yourself.
Thanks to technology and the gifts of our audio/visual team and Trustees, we have amazing sound and video quality for our hybrid worship experience. You can join us live from home via Facebook Live, YouTube or the church’s website. In the hybrid worship experience, you can check in to Facebook, post comments, prayer concerns and greetings.
ONGOING: CHRISTMAS SEASON DEVOTION
Rev. Joe Michael from Church as Folk is making and posting a series of videos to celebrate the 12 days of Christmas and Epiphany. The videos are to encourage reflection and engage discussion on how God may be making something new in us and in the world. The series began on December 25th and will end on January 6th with Epiphany.
You can track the videos through churchasfolk.org/holyfeast or by subscribing to the Church as Folk YouTube channel .

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
We have received a request from the office of Darlene M. Plummer, Kenton County’s Property Valuation Administrator, to publish the following information:
Turning 65 in 2022? If you own and occupy your home, you may be eligible for a reduction in the net taxable value of your home under the Homestead Exemption. Please visit www.kentonpva.org for additional information or call 859-392-1750.
SPECIAL RECYCLING EVENT
Throughout the month of January, Hildy will be collecting items to be recycled at the Cincinnati Recycling and Reuse Hub (CRRH). Examples of items that can be brought for recycling include:
- Holiday lights that no longer work
- Old gift cards or other old plastic cards that no longer have value
- Prescription bottles and small over-the-counter (OTC) medicine bottles (empty, with personal information removed)
Items should be brought to the collection bin at the back of the sanctuary beginning in January.
Here are some additional tips regarding the recycling of medicine bottles:
- Large OTC medicine and vitamin bottles can go in Rumpke curbside recycling with the lid on. Loose lids may fall through the machines and end up in the landfills.
- Small OTC medicine and vitamin bottles cannot go in Rumpke curbside recycling. They can, however, be recycled at CRRH and can be brought to the church during the month of January.
