FROM THE PASTOR
Home Improvement Project
In an effort to do some much needed improvements, we are launching the Home Improvement project. There are 2 ways to get involved.
First, we need your financial help for 2 vital projects. The wood front doors received new locks and safety mechanisms. The Sunday school floor needs a new air conditioner that cools the chapel, the Worship and Wonder room and the men’s and women’s classrooms. We need $15,000 for these improvements. We are asking for your special giving to this Home Improvement Fund. You can write in the memo of your check or online gift “Home Improvement.”
Second, there is a list of home improvement projects that need done. There is work for everyone regardless of skill and ability. Let Pastor Tracy know which project you want to complete and what supplies you need. The list will be posted in the sanctuary and on the FB page.

PANORAMA FOOD PANTRY
Thank you to everyone who donated to the Panorama food drive. We collected over 3000 items. Hilde, Richard, Joe and Pastor Tracy took pies in the face to celebrate your donations! Please continue to bring food donations for the food pantry. The shelves are well stocked now, but the need will continue.
Faith In Action Together (F.I.A.T)
The Faith in Action Together team met for the first time last month. It is not too late to join the team! If you are interested in being a part of the ministries that will move us into justice work, join the FIAT team. We are looking for people who are interested in any or all of this work to join us virtually on the 4th Wednesday of every month beginning in September at 7 pm to help us move forward together. If you have questions, please contact Joe Gallenstein or Pastor Tracy.
BOOK LAUNCH
Pastor Tracy’s dear dear friend, Ryan Joseph Allen, co-founder of Love Must Win and an instrumental leader in the GLAST recovery group, launched a new book this week called My Drug Dealer Brought Me to God. This memoir helps explore and create community conversations around the intersections of the LGBTQ+, mental health, faith, and addiction/recovery communities.
In just one day, Ryan’s book rose to a #1 Amazon bestseller. He will be doing a book launch tour at the church on October 16th at 7:00 pm. You want to come! Ryan is the embodiment of love and inclusion.

TUESDAY BIBLE STUDY
Please join us for Bible study on Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 pm. There is an optional prayer time at 1:45p.
BOOK CLUB Book: The Stranger Diaries by Elly Griffiths.
Book club will meet on Sunday, Oct 10, 2021 at 1p.
