Linda Jones, Associate Regional Minister is retiring on August 31 of this year. She has been district minister, treasurer, and worked with the women’s ministry. The Regional Office wants to bless her as she makes the transition to the next chapter of her life.
The Chrisitian Church in Kentucky and Jeffersontown Christian Church invite you to join us for a celebration in honor of Linda and her ministry on Saturday, September 18, at Jeffersontown Christian Church from 2:00 until 4:30 pm. The church is located at 10631 Taylorsville Road in Jeffersontown. The church asks those who have not received their Covid 19 vaccine to wear face coverings.
Here is where you come in, Linda knows about the party but what she does NOT know is that we are asking everyone to shower her with letters and cards, video greetings and a love offering. We will compile the letters and cards into a scrapbook, and you can send those to the regional office to the attention of Terry Royster at P.O. Box 910503, Lexington, KY 40591.
Video greetings will come together as a video to be played at the party for Linda. Email your greetings to terry@ccinky.net. We need the letters, cards, and video greetings no later than August 31.

Father’s Day Undie Sundie (Sunday)
We will be doing Undie Sundie to collect underwear for men and boys who are in the Welcome House shelter. Please bring your donations to church and put them in the bin marked “Undie Sundie”, or, you can drop them off at the office on Wednesdays and/or Fridays. Please let Lori know via email if you plan to bring your donation to the office. If you buy them on Amazon, you can even help our church at the same time! Thanks for all you do for others in our community and beyond.
